Upcoming young professional with a passion in Financial Risk Management and Supply Chain Management with a desire to work for a large firm. I am currently in the end of completing my Masters in Financial and Risk Management from Monash University.
Member of the Financial Management Association of Australia (FMAA). FMAA is an independent student body works closely with the Department of Finance and the Faculty of Business & Economics promoting career awareness of students and facilitates involvement in business related activities.
• Fostered in development of future business and community leaders.
• Set up networking events and bringing people from various universities to enhance employability of members.
• Led a forum for interaction between members and potential employees.
Even though with a bachelor's degree from SRM University in automobile engineering, the internships I have undertaken during my bachelor's inspired me to work on big data and in data analytics. Based on the experience I would like to develop my analytical skills in the field of financial risk management and supply chain. This motivated me to work on quantitative analysis and advance in machine learning tools. Gaining some valuable hand-on experience during the internship period has allowed me to look into future analyst opportunities.
While studying my bachelors degree there were a number of projects in which I was able to master. At first, I developed a small scale "Road side illuminator using LDR" to prevent accidents during night times. This project was recognized by the university and it was implemented for the whole university. Followed by it I constructed a radio-controlled car with the help of Proximity and Bluetooth sensors where the car was controlled from our own mobiles. This project came into light and was awarded as the best outgoing project in an inter-university competition. Succeeded in creating a real time working model projecting mileage of a car with a precise output. This was tested in different public cars where the mileage of cars was projected for every 5 seconds. This project won the best minor project award in my whole department. It helped me in mastering real time analyst skills.
The following are the various tools and back end programming which I learnt in achieving success for my projects.
Languages : R, Python
Back Ends : MySQL, SSRS
Platforms : Windows
Tools : SAP LOGON, Power BI, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics 365, VBA, Lean Six Sigma,Tableau , Arduino, Quantitative risk analysis
During my bachelors I interned in few reputed OEM's including PPG Asian Paints, Hyundai Motor India, Scania Commercial Vehicles and Brakes India. All these companies have given me a chance to implement the theories I have learnt in a practical world.
I am currently seeking an graduate role/entry level role and would love to work for a large firm with a great integrity, who seeks to excel in the respected field. Please be free to contact me at "tarunvenkat6@gmail.com" if you have any queries regarding myself or about my qualifications.

Experience
Quality Control Data Intern: PPG Asian Paints (6 Months)
• Implemented a new tool named “Statistical Process Control” (SPC) for entire manufacturing plant.
• Extracted data with the help of “System, Applications and Products” (SAP) and VBA, allowing to study and analyzing big data.
• Live monitoring trend was developed to monitor the quality of the products continuously.
• Applied analytical methods on real world data in decision making purposes for data integrity and organization.
• Identified and resolved number of troubleshooting parameters.
• This project was recognized by the company and awarded us for developing this real time statistical trend project.
• Web based link was used for SPC tool to monitor live trend and was linked with PRO XMS- XTRA for getting control chart.
Customer Service Data Intern: Scania Commercial Vehicles
• Identified various key factors to meet customer needs including response time, product availability, convenience, macroeconomics and operational factors.
• Developed a framework for making network design decisions and maximize long-term profitability.
• Evaluated uncertainties using decision trees, mapping and bubble charts of Tableau that are particularly relevant when designing supply chain. The input factors include demand, price and other economic factors.
• Different strategies were used to mitigate risk in global supply chains such as hedging, risk pooling and flexibility.
Implant Training: Hyundai Motor India
• Evaluated and interpreted how a substantial manufacturer works to inbound customers and efficiently reporting, retrieving and processed data using SQL.
• Conducted research in importance of planning, team work and sustainable development of OEM’s.
• Extract business intelligence accurately by providing a single view of data for the operations team to understand damages and losses using PowerBI.
• Trained in a world of possibilities for educating, development and contribution and also gained industrial experience and knowledge.
Implant Training: Brakes India
• Demonstrated high level organizational skills through administrative tasks.
• Applied basic predictive modelling and data analysis methods through statistical analysis.
• Analysed the quality of production in an industrial process, using statistical control charts with the help of R-studio.
• Advanced a platform by displaying presentation and communication skills by presenting daily updates of plant in visual form using Tableau.

Projects
DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF MILEAGE PROJECTOR
The main aim of this project is to know the exact mileage of the vehicle. The micro controller (Arduino) is programmed to calculate the RPM by detecting pulses from the Infrared sensor. This helps in bringing the awareness in people by giving information about the mileage periodically. The Display is connected to the Arduino and Arduino is programmed to display the final value in the LCD screen. Hence the user knows the exact mileage of the vehicle. First this was implemented in small scale process by inputting the values in Tableau and extracting various charts through which we were able to monitor the trend of the mileage. After having a successful process, we implemented in real time cars with public interest and had a positive output. Won the best outgoing award for developing this project.
REMOTE CONTROLLED CAR
Developed a remote controlled car which was controlled by using mobile. This was done with the help of Raspberry pi by downloading Linux OS. There was so much of requirement into this project. It was really one of challenging projects were we wrote code, calculations and learning python was required for developing this project. The code was structured into two elements and the main code will run everything. By installing a camera in the front of the car made us look into the mobile and operate the car. There was no necessary for us to look at the car while driving. It was similar to that of simulation. This project came into limelight and was well recognized by the university.
