About

A management postgraduate student with knowledge and experience working in IT. I'm currently seeking a job role where I can put my knowledge regarding strategy and business improvements to good use. Some of the things that I've learned from past educational and work experiences which I feel can add value to the day-to-day operations of your firm include:
- conducting data analysis using tools like Excel to identify the root cause of a problem
- communicating the results of the data analysis using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and PowerPoint
- utilizing management frameworks to develop recommendations that address the identified problem.

On a more personal note, the three words that I'd say would describe me accurately are resilient, empathetic and diligent. Being empathetic has helped me be attuned to cultural differences and how to adapt my communication style accordingly. Furthermore, it has enabled me to offer and seek help when necessary. This way I can learn new things and also add value to the team that I am part of. When I say I'm resilient I mean that I'm always willing to go the extra mile to achieve the desired outcome. In my last position at a consulting firm, I was asked to revise the entire report two days before the deadline so that it matches the new and improved requirements of the client. That required me to move fast and make the necessary changes so that we can still deliver the report on time. I recognize the value in small things and how they can produce a ripple effect. Hence, I pay attention to all the finer details.

  • Experience

Consulting Intern at Accenture (Feb 2020 -Mar 2020)
During my time here, I was part of a team where we were asked to find out why the customer trust in banking in Australia was at an all-time low after the Banking Royal Commission and how the banks can gain back customer trust. First, we sought out to understand why the commission was set-up in the first place and what the commission's findings were. Second, we looked into how the commission's findings managed to hamper the relationship between the bank and the customer. In an effort to better understand the market environment in the Banking industry we've sought out to analyze the internal and external market environment. Upon conducting the analysis we noticed that there's a huge gap between where the banks are right now and where they need to be to provide a better customer experience. Knowing how the gap is caused and the consequences of inaction to bridge the gap helped us recommend strategies for short-term and long-term organizational development that will aid the banks with regaining customer trust.
  • Projects

I've worked on a start-up project which was centered on the idea of delivering services that help clients to be more mindful. My role here was primarily to ensure that their business processes were in line with their long-term strategy. This required me to look for any sort of under and over-allocation of resources at hand. I've noticed that there were a lot of resources allocated to inventing new programs and procedures to meet the needs of every customer's request. Being customer-driven has only increased the complexity of operations and it has added on an extra cost. Here my recommendation to the firm was to adopt mass customization so that they can provide value to their customer. I have noticed that most of the customers use this service in the same way and they only differ in the way they want the service presented. So my approach was to present the standard service differently to different customers.
