Speech-to-Text using Unsupervised Learning, April 2020 - May 2020 • Implemented a simple speech-to-text converter using Naive Bayes Classification and Maximum Likelihood Estimation. • Generated a data-set by extracting features from a simple vocabulary of 2 words using speech processing concepts. • For a speech sample consisting these 2 words, number of utterances, time instances are found and converted to text. Music Genre Classification using Machine Learning, Feb 2020 - Mar 2020 • Extracted 28 features from audio samples after noise removal in time, frequency and cepstral domain. • Logistic Regression model was trained to classify songs as either Indian Classical or Western Classical genre. • Implemented the machine learning model on MATLAB and achieved an accuracy of 90% while testing. Autonomous Rover for Land Mine Detection and Deactivation, Jan 2018 - Mar 2018 • Designed an automated rover that detects landmines and transmit their physical co-ordinates. • Prototype was designed using Arduino and the info transmission was achieved using ESP8266 Wi-Fi chip. • Selected for funding, by Defense Research & Development Organization Robotic & Unmanned Systems Exposition. everyTHING : Home Automation using Internet of Things, August 2016 • Developed a unified IoT platform which could remotely monitor sensors such as gas and temperature sensors. • An android app was developed on Android Studio to track the sensors’ status and send notifications to it’s users. • Winner for inter-university technical competition held at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, India. • Winner for inter-university hackathon organized by SSN College of Engineering, India.
