About the role
As a UX Design Intern, your role will be essential in shaping the user experience of our products. You'll collaborate with our product and development teams to create intuitive, user-friendly designs on Figma.

We realize that not every design will land, and that they require work and customer feedback before they’re successful. We value people with a scientific personality—someone that isn’t afraid to try new things, but can also look for and respond to customer feedback & insights.

This is a part-time position and will be compensated hourly.

Responsibilities
• Contributing in the creation of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Contributing to user research efforts, and interpreting feedback into design solutions.
• Collaborating with the team to understand design specifications and constraints.
• Documenting design work, tracking design debt, and building out a design library.
• Become a vital member of the design team with guidance from a mentor and colleagues from cross-functional teams.
• Taking initiative to communicate with other members of the team.

Required
• Attending/recently attended post-secondary education, or a UX course, with a graduation date between 2023-2026
• A portfolio of product design samples, either from personal projects or past internships
• Experience with Figma
• Passion for all aspects of the design process, including product strategy, UI/UX, visual design, and interaction design
• A scientific personality; you’re not afraid of trying new strategies, but you’re also not afraid of moving to different strategies when you track that things aren’t working out
