The Global Payments team is building a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, such as TikTok, Helo, Games, Education, etc.

Responsibilities:
1. Optimize the core architecture of Global Payments, design a highly available, high performance, and highly maintainable system to ensure the stability of Global Payments
2. Design and achieve the guarantee system of end-to-end full-link stability for Global Payments
3. Cooperate with the SRE team to ensure the stability of Global Payments
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical background involving software/system engineering, or equivalent working experience
2. Good programming experience with high concurrency/complex business system/service management
3. Proficient in at least one of the following backend languages: C/C++/Java/Go/Python/Shell
4. Strong analytical thinking and excellent troubleshooting
5. Positive and optimistic, strong sense of responsibility, self-driven, serious, good team communication and collaboration skills

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $187040 - $280000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
