This team plays a critical role in how the Splunk platform can help administrators understand the value they get from Splunk.
Splunk is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative frontend engineer to work closely with product owners and designers to build and support a suite of customer-facing Splunk applications to visualize, attribute, and optimize license usage for Splunk Cloud. You’ll also enable internal stakeholders by developing tools to monitor and investigate license usage as part of customer escalations.

This team owns the license usage experiences for the Splunk Cloud platform, which spans multiple feature requests from other product teams. So you’ll work with product owners to understand the priority of the team’s roadmap, and how we balance internal and external customer feature requests.

What You’ll Do
• Create modern and interactive UI using React across a suite of internal and external Splunk apps
• Break down sophisticated features and tasks
• Build comprehensive test suites to ensure maintainability and stability
• Work with UX designers and product managers to understand customer requirements
• Collaborate within the team through open design discussions and code reviews
• Participate in an automated CI / CD development model with a quality-driven release process
• Join an on-call rotation to help assess the priority of customer escalations and troubleshoot critical issues

What You’ll Need
• Proficiency level experience building javascript web pages using modern frameworks such as React
• Familiarity with agile and cloud driven development processes using CICD systems
• Familiarity with front-end testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress
• Strong communication and collaboration skills as you’ll be working with cross functional teams
• Experience with working on a customer facing product is desirable
• Experience with Splunk software is desirable, but not required
