What you'll do

The CLM Team is looking for a full stack software engineer to help architect and build customer facing user experiences in our contract management web application. You will partner with design and product teams to identify elegant yet simple designs to accomplish complex tasks that will delight our customers. You will use modern web frameworks to implement the designs, with accessibility, performance and instrumentation in mind.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Manager, Software Engineering.

Responsibility
• Learn and adopt best practices for responsiveness, performance and accessibility
• Write and ship modular, secure, and scalable code
• Raise issues and opportunities for improvement early and often
• Demonstrate strong focus on instrumenting features being developed
• Test your code at all levels and ensure its quality before shipping
• Participate in live site reviews
• Partner with product managers, designers, and peer engineers
• Build deep product and customer knowledge

Job Designation
Hybrid:Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic
• 2+ years of software engineering or related experience
• 1+ year of experience in modern front end development technologies such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and modern Javascript frameworks
• Experience working the full stack in one or more of OO programming languages like C# or Java
• Experience developing software solutions using object-oriented methodologies and design patterns
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred
• Passion for UI; Good sense of usability and design
• Experience with consuming and building RESTful web-services, React, Typescript, GraphQL and Node.js
• Experience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirks
• Experience with using telemetry to gain insights into usage patterns and feature success
• Experience with Git, continuous integration, and deployment tools

Wage Transparency
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $108,700.00 - $168,675.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $103,100.00 - $141,725.00 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $103,100.00 - $149,500.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity andbenefits.
