Job Description:
Responsible for executing operational excellence and process improvement initiatives on a day-to-day basis, which includes creating future-state processes and metrics based on customer feedback to improve operational performance in quality, cost, delivery and risk mitigation. The position facilitates and promotes the understanding and implementation of operational excellence principles and techniques. The role conducts data analyses, including gathering data, analyses and generating insights. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

Responsibilities
• Application of process analysis methods to identify operational excellence opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce risk prior to automation design.
• Support detailed requirements gathering, design and development of automations using various tools.
• Writes requirements and use cases/user stories.
• Build and maintain relationships with Business Technology, Business Stakeholders and other teams to support automation development activities.
• Lead & manage multiple projects at different stages of the project lifecycle (Intake/Evaluate/Design/Develop/UAT/Demo/Deploy/Post Deployment Support).
• Facilitates meetings, produces meeting minutes and develops project plans.
• Perform process mapping and time study observations.
• Clearly document solution design, job aids and enhancements.
• Perform investigatory shadows, process analysis and present recommendations.
• Authoring project-related documentation in accordance to DFS standards.
• Problem solves production issues, which may require transactional processing to complete thorough review of a process.
• Ensures designs are thorough and efficient.
• Ensures testing is well thought through and executed timely.
• Works closely with the Business, Vendor and DFS technical teams through all life cycle phases, and include authoring some project-related documentation in accordance to DFS standards.

Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology or related field
• 4+ years of experience as Business Analyst, Project Management, Scrum master or related field
• In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience as Business Analyst, Project Management, Scrum master or related field

Preferred Qualifications
If we had our say, we’d also look for:
• Background with Lean Six Sigma or other process analysis methods and documentation (LSS Green or Black Belt)
• Master's Degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology or related field
• Familiarity with Python, BluePrism or other RPA applications
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage with technical and non-technical teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Process Mapping Software (LucidChart/Visio)

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $65,000.00 to $109,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
