SIGN LANGUAGE TRANSLATOR USING ARDUINO We developed a wearable glove using flex sensors and Arduino UNO R3 with the help of cross functional team of Electronics and Computer engineers. Since ASL have distinctive signs for each alphabet, it was possible to map the readings of flex sensors for each sign to its respective alphabet. Led the hardware team in this project and instead of using a flex sensor that was easily available at the store, I came up with the idea of designing it that cost us just 1/5th of the price.
4 BIT FULL ADDER-SUBTRACTOR USING MICROWIND My design approach involved using the Boolean algebra expression of a 4-bit adder and subtractor. The circuit layout was implemented using the standard cell approach. Microwind was used for the simulations by designing the logic gate expression. Each circuit was individually tested, tuned and integrated to obtain the desired output.
ELEVATOR DESIGN USING VHDL I designed a 4-floor elevator by using VHDL. Here it was used to control the motion of the elevator and also indicate the direction of movement of the elevator and also shows at which floor was the elevator present. The software used in this project was Xilinx ISE Simulator.
