1)Chicago Crime Analysis
• Pre-processed the dataset that came with inconsistent data, also categorized similar words, crime types using aggregation and feature extraction for over 6 million records in R studio
• Visualized the crime data into pie charts, bar graphs, histograms, scatter plot, heatmaps, time series using ggplot and aplpack library and performed analysis to find trends and insights based on crime location
• Performed prediction analysis using forecast library with classification models like Naïve, SNaïve, Holt’s Winter and ARIMA
• Forecasted crime incident using different forecasting methods and compared their accuracies which resulted ARIMA as the best forecasting method with accuracy of 391.2 according to its RMSE value
2)Visualization on Terrorism in India
• Cleaned the dataset of terror attack for India and forecasted probability of attack characteristics and casualty prediction by using sklearn in Python which achieved an accuracy of 79%
• Conducted exploratory data analysis and visualized the impact of features such as location, time period, weapons, etc. by implementing graphs like pareto chart, box plot, heatmap, histogram and created dashboard to provide insights using Tableau
3)RFID Electronic Payment System
• Designed a website for cashless payment system for the entire college campus which included cafeterias, stationery shop
• Formulated database system using SQL to manage 500 student entries for keeping records and conducting transactions
• Implemented DES and encryption algorithms which increased the security from 51.75% to 61% leading to efficient and fast payments
