Experience
STUDENT RESEARCHER: GESTURE & ACTIVITY RECOGNITION VIA WIRELESS SIGNAL ANALYSIS, ASU: • Worked on running a Sniffer Program on Two USRP devices in order to check if it’s possible to listen to the data being transmitted between two devices using GNU radio and Wireshark. • Working on Using Channel State Information (CSI) to determine the validity, Stability, and integrity of Channel that is transmitting data between two devices.
Projects
Estimation of Angle of Arrival for mmWave channel using Sub6 GHz channel information: • We propose an architecture that integrates the sub-6 GHz and mmWave technologies. • Our system exploits the spatial correlations between the sub-6 GHz and mmWave interfaces to estimate the channel parameters required for channel selection, beamforming, and data transfer in the mmWave through observing channels in the Sub-6.
Prediction of Heart Disease using Machine Learning: • Analyzed the dataset provided which contained multiple variables related to the heart. Determined which variables are highly correlated and created a cross-covariance matrix to show which variables are independent of each other and which variables are the best predictors of heart diseases. • Utilizing the six Machine Learning algorithms, we predict whether a person will have heart disease, the accuracy ranges between 75% to 85%. The training data was limited, hence 70% was used for training and 30% was used for verifying. There was a wide range of accuracy among each prediction model with the best possible combination of Parameters.
Implementation of OFDM System using MATLAB and GNU Radio: • Implemented an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) to 3-Modulation Schemes, BPSK, QPSK, and 16-QAM. • Applied OFDM to Inter Symbol Interference (ISI) channel to overcome large Delay Spread and eliminate ISI. FFT is used in OFDM as a channelizer as well as to compose and decompose signals. Worked on the MATLAB code to implement the OFDM in the 3-Modulation schemes.
