Projects
Configuration of SDN controller (Tools- Mininet, Python) (Apr 2020)
• Developed a python script for configuration of SDN controller to function as a router, switch and firewall
Load Balancing in SDN (Tools- Python, Ubuntu, Pox Controller, Mininet) (Oct 2019)
• Established a Software Defined Network using a Mininet topology and Pox SDN controller. The network consists of multiple hosts and servers connected to a switch. Transmitted a stream of HTTP requests from hosts to controller.
• Implemented 4 load balancers – Round Robin, Weighted Round Robin, Least Connections, Weighted Least Connections.
Telnet to Multiple Routers using Python (Tools – Python, Ubuntu, NS-3)(Aug 2019)
• Created a network topology consisting of an Ubuntu device connected to multiple routers. A Python Automation Script was run on device to telnet to all connected routers.
Implementation and Comparison of Ad-Hoc Routing Protocols (Tools – NS-3, python, Wireshark) (Apr 2019)
• Designed an Ad-Hoc network topology using NS-3 network simulator with enabled RTS/CTS mechanism.
• Examined performance of Ad-Hoc protocols – DSR, DSDV, AODV based on transmission range of nodes, average delay of packet transfer, number of users and effect of mobility.
Highly Available WordPress website (Tools- AWS, Bash) (Jan 2019)
• Designed a Fault-Tolerant WordPress Website that could tolerate failure of an entire availability zone.
• Deployed architecture by making use of AWS resources like an Auto-scaling group of EC2 instances, RDS instance with Multi-AZ enabled, CloudFront, S3 buckets and Application Load Balancer.
