I am passionate for problem solving especially universal accessible design. I identified an issue with how young engineers looked at side projects, the focus was on technology(for example AI/ML) and no one cared about the problem they are trying to solve. To change that I founded the Socio-Tech Innovation Lab in my college.
I visited NGOs, blind schools, and eventually partnered with 4+ social-startups and organizations by signing MoUs with them, to identify problems and solve them. I formed groups in the college, worked closely with each group, organization and the users to work on impactful products orchestrating the interactions among them, working on product idea and technical requirements to build a solution. I designed and implemented solutions with the teams for Dyslexia Identification through Eye Tracking, Scribe finder, Map based Water Harvesting solutions and many more. Organized events for 100+ students on campus to ideate and brainstorm impactful product ideas that solves a social problem.
Eventually my efforts were recognized by Google as I won a Google scholarship and travelled to Google headquarters to meet Product Managers. I learnt how my work and my passion was in product management and I ended up pursuing my higher studies to develop deeper knowledge of the technologies to help me materialize my innovative ideas.
I am passionate about solving real problems, working with users and engineers to find innovative practical solutions and create an impact. I am looking for a Summer Internship and for full time positions starting January 2020 in product management to pursue my passion for technology and problem solving.
Additionally, I am a strong advocate for Mental Health issues and have conducted events to spread awareness and set up free phone call counselling services on campus.
