"I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do." - Leonardo da Vinci
I am currently pursuing a master's in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University. I am graduating in May 2020 so currently looking for full-time job opportunities. I have completed under graduation in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune.
I have completed an internship in P3 USA, Inc. as an Associate Consultant. My job was to consult Magna Seating South Carolina in their Warehouse System Management. The aim of the project was to improve warehouse performance and to make the warehouse operation smooth. I developed KPI's such as Forklift Performance, inventory ratios, etc. and achieved the lowest JITb count in history.
Also, I have done a course project with Roy Metal Finishing. The aim of the project was to minimize the inspection cost of the Electroplating Process. By using the DMAIC principle we suggested them a new sampling technique.
I have done an internship in BAJAJ Auto Ltd. where I got to know that Industrial engineering is used to optimize complex systems and processes to increase overall productivity and efficiency. During my under graduation, I have published a paper in IJRITCC named “Design and Analysis of Loading and Unloading of a workpiece on CNC Lathe”.
Technical Skills: Minitab, 5S, FMEA, QFD, Lean Manufacturing, Process Mapping, Process Capability, Hypothesis Testing, Measurement System Analysis, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Time Management, SIPOC, Process Capability, Creo, AutoCAD, Solid Works, CATIA.
As A.P.J. Abdul Kalam said, “Small Aim is Crime and Have a Great Aim”. So, my aim is to give the best in every work I perform. I would love to have practical knowledge of the skills I have achieved in Industrial Engineering.
