A passionate Mechanical Engineer, having robust experience in engineering & designing products such as heat exchangers, valves, fixtures, electrical enclosures, power & hand-tools, gear-train, and mechanical/bio-mechanical devices from their initial concept to fabrication-ready drawings and prototypes. My designs are always endorsed by FEA/FVM based simulation analysis thus assuring functionality of the prototype with fewer revisions while achieving DFM.
My strengths are root-cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving which bolsters my capabilities for process and product optimization. I'm a person who thrives in solving engineering problems and cultivating advancement through research. Right now, I'm looking for opportunities to utilize my mechanical aptitude and prototyping skills along with a research-driven mindset at an innovative company.
To headhunters/recruiters: I hope this piqued your interest a little! If you need any more information and my background fits your requirements, please do not hesitate to contact me.

• Engineered using SolidWorks & fabricated through Dremel/Object30-3D printers, and Machine Shop
• Sorted & Managed laboratory inventory into a cloud database
• Executed laboratory's equipment inspection and maintenance for reduced downtime
• Administered root cause analysis, problem-solving, and rheology research studies in a cleanroom environment.
• Refined & visualized statistical Multidimensional Data Analysis (MDA) using Excel, Origin, and JMP software package.
• Organized workshops and generated online resources for laboratory safety and instrument handling
• Trained new graduate students through online and hands-on interactive sessions.
• Supervised safely procurement & transportation of hazardous materials within the regulated standards.
• Generated and processed purchase orders (PO) based on laboratory inventory.
• Composed reports & scripted experimental protocols for RSA-G2 & DHR-2 Laboratory Equipment (TA instruments).
• Cultivated enzyme and proteoglycans (PGs) quantification using Blyscan assay.
• My experimental results confirmed an optimistic control over the viscoelastic behavior of ocular tissue.
2. Research Engineer
•Assisting students and faculty with computational modeling tasks (FEA and/or FVM).
•Fostered projects of senior year student through design and simulation using CATIA/SolidWorks and ANSYS 18.0
•Managed weekly maintenance of lab equipment, computers, and servers by creating backup images.
•Audited and composed records/logs of ongoing projects and funding in CFD Lab.
~~Two Industrial Research Projects~~
Advance Valves Pvt. Ltd., Noida, India
• Mobilized industrial project of ‘Check Valve Performance Optimization’
• Designed a check valve that surpassed 6.2% valve performance by achieving a flow coefficient of 2800 ± 4% gallons/(minute*psi1/2) using SolidWorks.
• Characterisation and meshing of fluid domain inside valve using OM-solver and ICEM-CFD.
• Formulated numerical model of 12-inch valve's diffuser profile using Finite Volume Method (FVM).
• Analyzed simulation flow variables and simultaneously modified valve's diffuser geometry by auditing surface drag and achieving maximum flow coefficient throughout the valve.
• Composed bi-weekly report and briefed company's VP about engineering change order (ECO).
• Administered and exceeded dell 64-cores server performance for parallelization of computational programs.
Tex Corp. Ltd., Gurgaon, India
• Inspected and formulated a mathematical thermal model of multi-stage evaporator and condenser unit.
• Quantified thermal properties from simulations used for calculating tube sizing of Heat Exchanger such as overall heat transfer coefficient 'U', LMTD, sensible and latent heat.
• Fabricated scaled-down, one by third, prototype of the final optimized system.
• Showcased the phase-1 recovery goal of reusable water (5283 gallons approx.)
3. Product Design Intern
• Established consultation & handled 2 to 4 customers daily with part/product modeling and engineering drawing.
• Designed 3D solid and surface models along with manufacturing-ready drawings incorporating GD&T (ISO, India).
• Enforced design and engineering tasks using DS Catia and AutoCAD.
• Oversaw fabricated prototypes with Prusa i3 and Ultimaker 3D printers.
• Ensured every design is 3D print-ready for sustained rapid prototyping
• Demonstrated same-day product design with prototyped validation from clients.
• Scrutinized omnidirectional magnetic wrist-watch strap for a client predicted to reach INR 100k (~$2000) profit bi-annually in local market sales (India, 2017)
