Overview
R&D Engineering Technical Program Managers (TPMs) at MongoDB work alongside engineering, product management, and UX design to build the best Developer Data Platform in the industry. Our customers range from hyper-growth startups to established banks. As collaborative, empathetic leaders, TPMs own the processes and tooling that streamline product development cycles from ideation to release, ensuring our cross-functional teams deliver the best solutions to our customers.

We're seeking Technical Program Management Interns to join engineering teams and work on high value projects designed to improve our engineering operations. As a TPM, you will be at the heart of the engineering practices used in complex technical and organizational systems, and will play a key role in feature delivery.During this internship, you'll work closely with engineering, product, UX design, and data analytics teams. You’ll be empowered to make an impact on cross-functional projects, introduce innovative processes, streamline tasks through automation, and build a strong community within the team. What we are looking for in you
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or an equivalent field.
Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025.
Previous experience in leading projects or teams, whether in class assignments, participation in clubs, internships, or similar contexts.
Have an interest in working on engineering teams to build and improve product development workflows and processes.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in diverse teams, translate feedback into actionable steps, and drive meaningful improvements in team processes.
Passionate about technology and innovation, along with a mindset of continuous improvement and knack for proposing inventive ideas.
Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt style and delivery for diverse audiences.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles.
