What You’ll Do: CarGurus, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA: Business Intelligence Analyst to develop financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports to support FP&A at CarGurus. Duties include: support internal business leaders with operational and financial reporting; design, develop, and deliver analytic solutions, enabling data-driven strategic decision-making; translate business needs into data analytics questions; identify relationships and analyze trends in data analyze trends related to key business metrics and share actionable insights across the organization; analyze the company monthly revenue data and financial performance; work with engineering and operations teams on data integrity and process improvements. Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics Business Administration, Statistics, Finance or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Position also requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Business intelligence (BI), business operations, or financial planning and analysis; BI tools: Looker, Tableau, and/or Google Data Studio; Advanced Excel formulas and using conditional, vlookups/hlookups, sorting and filtering, array formulas, pivot reporting, and conditional formatting; SaaS, SQL, and Google Data Studio; Building financial database using Google Big Query; Defining and developing financial processes and policies; and Data visualization.
