Experience
LifeYield LLC, Boston June 2019 – Dec 2019
Software Engineer Co-op
● Got to experience the webapp angular UI, chartJS based reports, C# backend for business workflow changes, improving performance of various microservices, SAML, creating database Jobs and logging for various server features. Created Dashboards to give consolidated views of all investments and portfolio assets and its various sub groupings.
● BuildTracker: created an internal app as a side project. It tracks various LifeYield apps through its builds, deployments, components and its versions which make up the build. It provided the dev and ops teams with an effective way to keep track of the environments (client/local), deployment details, saving loads of time and replacing the older email-based system.

Projects
Prattle chat (NEU) January – April 2020
● Created a chat application from SRS phase through to delivery in four sprints. It featured single/group messaging, group moderators, language preferences for on the go message translation, DND mode, autoload missed messages, follow friends, status updates, password protected groups, image/hyperlink support, profanity filters, chat encryption logging and retrieval.
● Achieved over 90% code coverage tracked by sonarQube. Jenkins and maven were used for CI and build management.
Prediction of Graduate Applications using Classification Algorithms (NEU) February – April 2019
● Applied ML Classification algorithms like Random Forest, Naive Bayes, SVM, Deep Neural Networks, Logistic Regression and K Nearest Neighbours to a graduate application dataset to see how they perform and try to improve it.
● Implementing the algorithms involved various techniques like data preprocessing, analysis, hyperparameter tuning and multiple validations to improve results. Documented the implementation process and compared the results found in a technical paper.
Stock Training MVC Application (NEU) September – December 2018
● Developed a MVC based Stock Trading training Java application with multiple interfaces (Console and GUI) and features such as buying stocks, creating and managing portfolios and investment plans, file based data persistence and stock data access through local file sources or an web API.
