I worked as a Senior Business Analyst for EXL service for two years where I focused on credit risk modeling for a major US bank. During my tenure, I created and validated machine learning models used in decisions of credit lending.
I earned my bachelor's in an Electrical Engineer from NIT Kurukshetra, and I will be completing my Masters in Business Analytics & Information Management from Purdue University in May 2020. With my expertise in data analytics and predictive modeling, I look forward to new opportunities in optimizing business solutions.
My education and prior experience have made me realize the immense power of data and how data-driven solutions with proper utilization of analytical skillsets impact businesses.

Academic Projects
Analyzing Sales on an online gaming platform Steam
• Explored factors contributing to the success of a videogame on the Steam Platform. Using topic modeling(LDA) we identified main topics in the descriptions and also extracted the contrast and brightness of the icon images by using appropriate image transformations.
• Finally using regression analysis we made go to market strategies and answered questions like:
Are Action games more likely to be successful than non-action games? Is it useful to include In-App Purchases in video games (in both free and paid games)?
Real-time Bitcoin Price Prediction on Hadoop ecosystem
Oct 2019 – Dec 2019
Developed an end to end pipeline in GCP to estimate real-time bitcoin price.
• Web scrapped streaming data and implemented the ARIMA model using mapper reducers.
• Designed a tableau dashboard and used Hive queries for simultaneous price monitoring as an end product of pipeline
