Software Developer Intern – University of Texas at Dallas
◦ Currently working in the Big Data Analytics and Management Lab at UTD.
◦ Performed data transformation by cleaning and processing annotated data.
◦ Used machine learning and deep learning for text extraction .e.g: BERT for ‘question-answering’

HADOOP, SPARK -- Deriving statistics form large datasets. Performed joins (in-memory, reduce side), job chaining. Used spark dataframes, spark sql.
CLASSIFICATION OF NEWS USING APACHE KAFKA STREAMING-- Designed an application which used machine learning to predict the category of news streamed from a news website. A pipeline model was built to process the data. (Tokenizer, stopwords remover, count vectorizer, <ML function>) Technologies Used: Kafka streaming (kafka-producer, consumer, directstream), Pipeline model, ML techniques.
R STUDIO -- Analyzed transaction data of Ethereum blockchain (BAT token) to derive some statistics (frequency of transactions, tracking major players in other tokens etc.,) and fit probability distributions on the statistics.
MACHINE LEARNING -- Implemented decision tree, Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, K means clustering from scratch (no libraries).
DEEP LEARNING -- Implement DNN for handwriting recognition, CNN for Facial Expression Recognition and BERT for text extraction.
ANDROID STUDIO -- Developed a schedule tracker for Remote care (Health care application).

Online Movie Store:
Implemented an online movie store with all the standard functionalities like login, sign up, search & filter, admin access to insert, edit & modify the contents of the store, shopping cart, checkout etc., from scratch (no software tools).
Technologies used: JQuery, Javascript, PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL, MAMP server.
Image Compression using K-means clustering
Implemented the K-Means clustering algorithm from scratch (no libraries) in order to perform image compression.
Technologies used: Python, Spyder IDE.
Decision Tree Classifier:
Constructed a Decision Tree from scratch (no libraries) and tested the accuracy of the predictions.
